On Our Plates: Halloween!

It’s time for some Halloween fun! Check out these recipes that we thought were pretty fantastic.

Laura’s Picks:

Halloween Pumpkin Punch by Honestly Yum: You must go check out this punch- with dry ice! It is seriously cool and appeals to the science geek in me.

Spider Web Cupcakes from Pizzazzerie: There are a million ways to decorate cupcakes for Halloween, but I thought this cotton candy as a spiderweb idea was pretty inspired!

Halloween Mini Pizzas from Hostess with the Mostess: Many savory halloween foods require cookie cutters, molds, or plastic bugs. These use mini pizzas and toppings to form spiders, pumpkins, etc.

Carrot Nose Jack-o-Lantern from Martha Stewart: These are not edible, but I could not resist these adorable pumpkins!

And a bonus throwback picture from 2009. I love to carve pumpkins! Ignore the bad hair please.

Amy’s Picks:

Dusty Bones Sugar Cookies from Sprinkle Bakes: Her sugar cookies look way spookier than mine ever do!

Goblin Dip with Bone Crackers from Southern Living: Bone crackers to go with your bone cookies.

Double-Crust Halloween Cheese Pizza from Betty Crocker – Making this pizza is pretty simple, but the presentation is lots of fun.
