‘Tis the season for baking and making lots of tasty cookies!  Every Friday in December, we will be bringing you a cookie-themed post.  To get things started, we have a round-up of some delicious looking cookie recipes from around the web to help inspire you.  I want to make them all!

Laura’s Picks:

Dark Chocolate Chunk Pistachio Cookies from Two Peas and Their Pod: I made these last year and they were delicious.  If you like pistachios, you need to try these!

Cinnamon Roll Cookies from Bakers Royale: I love cinnamon rolls, but a whole one is often too much for me to eat, so these bite sized cookies sound great.

Flourless Chocolate Cookies from Cooking Classy: A great option for all my gluten-free friends and family.  Plus, they don’t require any unusual ingredients so anyone can try these super chocolatey treats.

Cornflake, Chocolate Chip, Marshmallow Cookies from Momofuku Milk Bar c/o Martha Stewart: I love the sound of this combo of crunchy, chewy, chocolatey, and gooey.  Martha describes it as a bowl of cereal, a s’mores, and a cookie all in one.  I’ll take it!

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti from A Family Feast: I made a variation of these earlier this year to ship to a family friend serving overseas.  They were tasty and held up well, so they are a great option if you want to mail some goodies.  Of course, they are also good if they never leave your house!  The colors in these are also very Christmas-y, but you can use different fruit or nuts if you prefer.
 Amy’s Picks:

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies from Trisha Yearwood – My mom used to make a version of these and wow, were they good.

Soft and Chewy Brown Sugar Maple Cookies from Averie Cooks – A fun twist on sugar cookies, these definitely seems worth a try.

Buttered Popcorn Chocolate Cookies from Joy the Baker – These. Yes.

Buttery Potato Chip Cookies from Taste of Home – If you want to try something a bit different this year, these cookies fit the bill.

Pink Grapefruit Sandwich Cookies from Brown Eyed Baker – These sandwich cookies would be a lovely counter to a batch of rich chocolate cookies, like the Flourless Chocolate Cookies that Laura listed above. Give em a try!
Our past cookie recipes:

Double Ginger Cookies: Like a chewy gingersnap with bits of candied ginger.

Raspberry Chocolate Rugelach: So cute and so tasty.

Ganache Filled Almond Macaroons: They are filled with chocolate, what more do you need to know?

Maple Pumpkin Whoopie Pies: Two cookies and frosting are better than one.
